Yes, there are constant metaphors that are, at times, strange. Yes, the romance is a little trashy and insta-lovey (I know this book has made many teens swoon). Yes, Warner is twisted and pathetic at the same time but also one of the most intriguing characters here. But I would be lying if I didn’t enjoy reading this a lot.
