I really wanted to love this book. Like really wanted to, but I just had such a hard time getting into it. I think there were only 150 pages left when the pace started to pick up and at that point it just got confusing. I do think the writing itself was lovely, but long-winded at times. There were a lot of characters to keep track of, and it felt disjointed at times. I felt like I needed complete, uninterrupted silence to be able to understand what was going on.
