EEEUUUUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHH. I haven't been a teen in a long time but I absolutely HATE when an author uses mis-communication/putting-words-in-their-mouth/not communicating as a plot device for drama that is a major part of the story. NO. Also, I cringed way too much during this book. The dialogue was off just enough that it seemed unrealistic.
