The Once and Future Witches
by Alix E. Harrow
This book very well may be my new favorite book.
I don't know if any book has ever from beginning to end evoked so much emotion in me. There were moments that had me giddy with laughter, and others that had me literally in tears as I listened.
Then add the LGBT representation that exists throughout the book. While I could have probably loved this book, without it. These moments honestly ended up being some of my favorite moments. The diversity of this representation, was awesome. But it definitely hit the point of historically we've always been here, historians just didn't look close enough, or ruled it out as something else.
