This book has officially put me in the worst slump I’ve had this year. The book hangover is REAL and it’s driving me insane. I can’t even look at another book because I'm hopelessly, irreparably, frightfully in love with these characters to the point I might perish if I don’t read the second one, but I CANT DO IT IM SCARED-

Although, I felt like nothing was happening for the first 40% of the book or what direction the book would take, I remained patient and kept going bc I knew it’s only the first in a trilogy. And it really picked up after the halfway mark, I was speeding thru the second half bc of the sizeable increase in stakes, tension and drama.

Stacey, I hate u but I can’t help that I love u too. At first, I was a bit like she's annoying and there was nothing overly interesting about her to make me want to care for her outside Kade but boi was I wronggggg. I’m sorry bbg I’ll never doubt u again
