Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: Parts One and Two
by John Tiffany
They say you can't go home again.
But for the few hours I spent between the covers of this play, I was pretty damn close.
I loved the story. It is great when HP goes all timey-wimey.
My only quibble is that the dialogue wasn't written by Rowling. Great plot, wonderful new characters, and of course time spent with the golden oldies. But no one does dialogue like Jo and it showed.
So, if Goodreads let us give half stars, I would give a 4.5.
That one quibble aside, I loved every minute I spent reading and I am grateful I got to spend the time in this world again.
9.5 jumps through time out of 10
