A Court of Wings and Ruin
by Sarah J. Maas
So, 699 pages...
I finished this rather quickly for my doing and that is because I loved it SO MUCH. I honestly think I like it better than ACOMAF. Why?
1. Because there was less of Tamlin, he's just an abuse and pathetic lord and just because he did one good thing in this book isn't going to make him a likable character again.
2. THERE IS SO MUCH GOING ONNN, there are mysteries being solved and new mysteries revealed. It's full of action and I loved all the strategies and the chapters on the battlefields!
3. Nesta, she is so mysterious, strong and fierce. Even though she's pretty terrible towards Feyre in the first 2 books and a good chunk of this one as well, she has her reasons...kind of. And her and Cassian...I can't wait to read so much more of them.
4. The characters all developed so magnificent. Everyone had this amazingly cool moment where they showed what and who they really are and what powers they possessed. It was really impressive and so much fun to read!
I love this series so much and I feel so much for these characters. I'm super excited for what's to come next!
What I didn’t like AT ALL were the intimate scenes. I think I finished this one so quickly because how fast I forced my eyes to go over these scenes. They were terrible and a torture to read! Sometimes I forgot what I was reading and it felt as if I was reading fandom smut on Wattpad. HORRIBLE.
I understand that there were reasons why they were so...lustful. Put it could have been described a LOT less cringy and detailed and with lesser wordsss
