I have loved the other books in this series, but this one was a miss for me. These two are friends and they fall in love, but the reason I disliked it is because the MMC is a playboy who all of the sudden realizes he's in love with the FMC, even though she has seen him sleep with countless women before her. That basically is putting her as second choice, especially considering how long it took him to realize he loved her and only her. Plus, the drama with the letters and her sister was so cringe and over the top and just not believable. You're telling me they knew each other their whole lives and he didn't recognize it was her handwriting?! Or that the letters sounded just like her and not her sister?! No way. I just didn't like this at all, but I kept the stars because I love this series, the appearances from the other characters from previous books, and because of the family drama. I'm hoping the next book will be better.
