Making a Scene
by Constance Wu
I actually have never seen anything Wu is in, and yet I loved this book and deeply resonated with Constance. Through a series of essays about growing up in Virginia to becoming a star and being a spokesperson for Asian American (something that was put upon her), Wu is deeply vulnerable and apologetic. I listened to this as an audiobook and both her voice and writing shined.
