A book reminiscent of Evelyn Hugo and Daisy Jones, but lacking the lustre in its characters and plot. The main character was obsessed with his 'dream Daisy', hellbent on being seen as a proper man for her when in the end he came off as an incel. I did guess the plot twist halfway but that was because the book was so boring until the last few pages there as nothing left to do but guess.
