larkkonen 's review for:
In the Name of Rome: The Men Who Won the Roman Empire
by Adrian Goldsworthy
Perhaps not the most definitive version of Roman history but nonetheless an enjoyable and informative read of the major war efforts. Reader not familiar with Roman history (like me), might struggle to follow the overall development of events spanning multiple centuries, but can still manage to learn useful and interesting facts.
