Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman
5.0

Holy moly this book was even more amazing than Scythe. I really enjoyed getting to know more about the Thunderhead, the Unsavories, charter areas, and tonists. There was way more world building in this book, which made it even more interesting. Also, there were new characters thrown in the mix that furthered the plot and made more drama.
Just like Scythe, Thunderhead imposes those ethical and moral issues as well as throws parallels to religion.
Thunderhead takes place a year after the events of Scythe. The Thunderhead is learning more upsetting things about the human race and the scythedom. He as a powerful and mighty AI cannot do anything when it comes to scythes. So, he must lean on a new character named Greyson to help warn some scythes of attacks and to help him with the human race. We still have Citra and Rowan in this book and the book follows their journeys as well.
There are many twists and turns to the book that leave you gasping and wanting to scream. My heart was pounding in the end and I have no idea where book three will take us because everything becomes a big mess. I really cannot wait to get my hands on book three to see how the series concludes.
