I went into this expecting to love it. It seemed something I'd love.
However it took me so long to get interested in. It felt like it took forever to read 20%. The pacing was just too slow.

Another thing for me is it had too many POVs. I would of preferred 2 or 3 instead of 5. Sometimes I get muddled up when there's too many. I also tend to struggle connecting with characters if chapters are short and each chapter changing POV.
Catherine had to most interesting story for me. I'm interested to see where it goes.
Thankfully towards the last 3rd I became interested. The action picked up and made me want to pick up book 2 once it's out.
