Where the Crawdads Sing
by Delia Owens
Overall, I enjoyed this book and found much of the prose lovely. The main characters are unique & well-developed and the setting is described in poetic, breathtaking detail. However, what kept it from being a 5-star from me was the way the dialogue was written to showcase the accents (I found it cumbersome a bit demeaning) & I felt like story was somewhat predictable.
