The answer to what a book about a 1990s California woman who embraced a ton of woo would be like if she were dropped into the early 1300s. So. Much. Church/politics and so many random plot points. The MMC cheats on the FMC multiple times AND really never comes around on loving her till the last page of the book. Also having tantric sex with someone is not how you cure the Black Plague. lol.
