Yellowface was great. I don’t use Twitter, but I could only imagine the discourse used in this book playing out on there. People are ruthless keyboard warriors/trolls. SM is so good, and so so bad in the same breath.  While Athena was not likeable, Junie was the worst.  She really believed her entitlement.  She is a classic case of someone that can’t get out of her own way for trouble. I liked how she was thinking “I need to write about things white people don’t see on a daily basis” then she starts stalking Chinatown.  Hilarious.  I enjoyed the insights into the publishing industry.  It confirmed the bigotry and selectivity I has suspected.  This book was well done.
