I ended up enjoying this book after a slow start. In the beginning, I needed a little more world building other than just a city in France. The first few chapters reminded me of The Gilded Wolves until the characters started to develop and it got better.

Lou was my favorite character! I loved the enemies to lovers plot and the twists and turns. I will definitely read the rest of the series.
