Guardians of the Galaxy/All-New X-Men: The Trial of Jean Grey
by Brian Michael Bendis
This was a decent crossover. It's exactly what the title says. The Shi’Ar are mad at Jean's actions as the phoenix, you know killing a bunch of their people. They want justice for that, and they come to earth to get it. But this Jean is from the past, since the X-Men were plucked from the past and brought to the present. It's complicated, don't think about it too much. While this is happening the Guardians of the Galaxy get mixed up in all this.
This basically ask the question, can you put someone on trial for action they haven't committed. Kind of what eventually leads into Civil War 2. It's kind of a dumb question, cause the obvious answer is NO. But it also gives you the idea of what if you can prevent something horrible? It is interesting.
Either way it's a short crossover, fun, but nothing special. Kitty and Quill relationship blossoming is kind of cute though and Rocket has some good one liners.
A 3 out of 5.
