Lover Unbound
by J.R. Ward
*Reviewed on Pages Of Forbidden Love
I have said it before an I will say it again, The Black Dagger Brotherhood Series is one of my favorites! I am so addicted to this series I think I could read the rest of what is out of the series from back to back if had the money to buy them all at once (and had the time). I just love the brothers. They are sexy and damaged but full of love for their special someone. Every brother has some big issue holding them back. A past you don’t totally know about until you get to their story. I love this because we are always learning something new about the brothers. There is mystery and suspense built up with each book. You get the focus on one brother and learn so much but then you get little bits of information about other brothers that have you yearning to know more, to get your hands on their story.
I felt like there were even more points of view in this story and although the fact that there were multiple points of view didn’t bother me the amount of time spent on those other points of view did. It wasn’t boring and every chapter held some importance but I wanted to get more time with Vishous and Jane. I felt like there was so much going on with other people that I didn’t get to see them together as much as I would have liked. I love the brothers but I love the women J.R writes for them as well. I love to see them break down each others walls and give their all to the other person. J.R always gives you so much passion and is not afraid to throw in the pain. The brothers never have it easy and their loves for each other is just as strong as their love for their women.
Besides the fact that I didn’t get enough of Jane and Vishous I still thought this was a great read. Although still present the lessening society wasn’t as big in this book. They are always a big issue in the books, I mean the brotherhoods whole purpose is to destroy them and protect their people but they got a little break from them in this book. They didn’t get a point of view and I enjoyed that. I much prefer the brothers side of things. Love Unbound was yet another addicting book in the series and I can’t wait to make some time for Lover Enshrined.
