This was an interesting read - I’m glad I started 2023 with it, but it was again, interesting.
I enjoyed the dual timeline storytelling perspective because it kept the story line very interesting. I had a feeling about what happened to Leah in the submarine, but I liked that it was drawn out as to what actually happened.
I wished that there was more clarity at the end, and that’s why I gave it a 3.5. I didn’t think that the story was strong enough to be a 4. Overall, really liked that it was a different type of horror book.
