Please don't be like me and watch the film before reading this book. Since I knew where the story was going this book moved at a much slower pace than I would have liked. I still liked the story, but I would have enjoyed it more knowing nothing about the plot going into it. I loved the angst and moral questions posed by the narrative, but the writing style felt off to me. This book makes you think about life and all of it's complexity.
