I'm not sure what to make of this book. This is the first of the consequences series I've read and I found it, odd. I think the humour gets in the way of the story. It's almost like the aim was to make it as funny as possible and not have to handle a romance story.
I get how to some people Max could be funny, to me he was annoying.
I found that I was never really sure of what Maddy and Jason wanted or how they got in the situations they got in.
I also found the writing a bit hard to follow. Things were implied, or double talked over and I was left confused. I haven't read much of RVD's books so this might be her style, if it is, it isn't for me.
That being said, the book was solid, just not a favourite for me, sorry.
