NOO NO NO NO NO NO NO. Really not happy with George dying. I feel totally played. I 100% had a terrible feeling it was going to happen but it would have been really nice (you know the whole mundane adopted by Shadowhunters becoming a Shadowhunter and proving himself) if he had ascended. I feel like he basically just died to make things easier for Simon when choosing a Shadowhunter name. And obviously he ascended. He never would have not ascended. But I also find it really strange that Simon is totally okay with discarding his mundane life, his mundane name and his mundane family. Like what's going to happen with that. Are they going to think he's dead? Or will he just pretend to be overseas and unable to visit his entire life? I'm so confused and heartbroken. George come back.
