The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware
4.0
This is my 3rd Ruth Ware and also probably my favourite so far!
This book got my attention almost after the first page.
Even though, somewhere in the middle, it got a bit slow & repetitive for me and this gothic build up didn't really do much for me either, the ending and those reveals, oh gosh, they got me good. I was IMPRESSED & SURPRISED! It felt like I got slap in the face with the reveals. And dare I say it, make it worth a read.
I don't know if I personally recommend this if you're looking for a "haunted house" story but it's a good psychological thriller that is about betrayals.
