WOW! Rachel Held Evans's memoir about the church really shook me. This book really made me reckon with my own spirituality and led me to find my own path to wholeness. Even though I'm not sure I completely buy into all Christian doctrine (especially American Christian doctrine), I do believe there is something bigger than myself out there and this book gave me the confidence to seek out a faith community again.
