This was such a beautiful book. I think the character arc of both Wallace and Hugo was so wonderfully done, especially with Wallace. He really was a shitty person in life but I think his character development was very real and believable.

I literally cannot remember the last time I’ve cried (probably not a good thing), but I cried multiple times reading this book. Happy tears, sad tears, all the tears. Klune really knows how to tug on your heart strings and elicit an emotional response. 

My only “complaint” was that I wasn’t really fond of Mei when we first meet her (I understood her more and liked her by the end) but while it was just Wallace and Mei I felt frustrated by both of them.

TJ Klune does it again and I cannot wait to pick up another one of his books.
