The One Hundred Nights of Hero by Isabel Greenberg
5.0

read for Popsugar 2017 challenge: a book that is a story within a story

I read this immediately after [b:The Encyclopedia of Early Earth|17412749|The Encyclopedia of Early Earth|Isabel Greenberg|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1366106342s/17412749.jpg|24575084] which was perfect as The One Hundred Nights of Hero builds on the same world and myths from the other novel, including my favorite character from Encyclopedia, the goddess Kiddo. Isabel Greenberg's writing hit such a perfect chord with me. She had wonderful twists on old stories (I loved when 12 Dancing Princesses popped up) and the main narrative of Hero and Cherry was extremely charming and heartwarming. I hope Greenberg comes back to Early Earth and continues to expands its stories.
