Thank you Netgalley and Random House for the eARC of this novel!
This book blends the story of beauty and the beast together with Asian mythology and I loved it. This book is lighthearted at times, but the conflict definitely has stakes. Reading this was a magical experience. I felt a bit like a child reading a fairytale for the first time.
The magic system, the imagery, the characters: I loved everything!
