I was surprised to find that the author of this book is actually Catherine McKenzie whose books I have enjoyed in the past (the more recent ones l did not unfortunately). This cosy mystery reminded me of her first books. I’m so glad of that.
I loved how this one was done. A different kind of writing where the main character Eleanor talked to the reader and explained what was going on. Narrating the story really. It was very entertaining.
I listened to this book and the narration was perfect.
This is the first book in a series and I’m going to add them to my TBR list.
I thoroughly enjoyed this!
