I think making Rhine and her brother Rowan twins was unnecessary - it didn't really add anything to the plot or their relationship. Overall, I wasn't a huge fan of Rhine. Cecily was annoying but kind of relatable; Lindon was a sweetheart with fair intentions but horribly ignorant. I might finish the trilogy; the book was decent.
