Oh! Oh! This one was bittersweet. Poor Kurti! I felt for that character and Hazel the most. Hazel is such a resilient little girl. To have been through so much trauma in a short span of her life. It was heartbreaking how many people want to break her family apart and destroy them. I wish things didn’t turn out the way that they did but this book reminds you to be careful who comes into your life. Because grief takes on many shapes.
Also I am unsure if it’s this volume or the previous one but I have loved the growth that has happened in this comic series and the introduction of a trans identifying and fluid character.
