The Accident Season
by Moïra Fowley-Doyle
This was an odd one for me. I never really understood just what the accident season was, or I should say, what caused it. It seemed like it was something that had been around forever, but then at the end maybe it hadn't been? What I thought was paranormal was actually more psychological, which I'm totally OK with, but it really confused me at first.
The imagery in this book was amazing. You really see all the characters and creatures come to life. The abandoned house is especially beautiful in its own way.
In the end we deal with some fairly heavy issues and the fallout they can cause, both mentally and physically.
