This book went pretty quickly compared to others in the series. Sorcha and Caden are cute, and I get the feeling this is a set up for the next series more than anything. I also wish there were other plot points that were better addressed. The line here and there about Kellen and Constance, or Cameron and Cailin was really unsatisfying when we’ve been hearing about these characters for multiple books. And Una especially, because it feels like some of the prophecies and tidbits she spoke about in the first book were just never addressed.
Moderate: Child death
The laird’s trauma is that he accidentally killed his young brother and it haunts him.
