I read the entire Edens series before reading this, but I decided that I needed to read this prequel solely because this is the season for a good Christmas novella and also because I desperately want even breadcrumbs worth of Edens content (Jasper Vale doesn't come out until February and I am dying) so I decided to dive into this cute and quick read. I really loved the relationship between Cleo and Austin and the enemies to lovers vibe they had. I love that Cleo just wanted to experience getting away, but a vacation to Quincy is ultimately what gives her the love of her life. It was a short, sweet and swoony read, all packed into less than one hundred and fifty pages and it makes for the perfect winter and holiday season novella.
