This book captured me from the very beginning. It was a perfect fall read. The amount of gore was just perfect. What really got me was the imagery the author was able to convey. Every scene was set so that I could imagine exactly what it was like. The characters were so compelling that I felt empathy even for the "not so likeable" ones. I highly recommend this book and can't wait for more from this author.
