House of Salt and Sorrows

I liked the story and it kept me on my toes. I loved the whole gods and demi gods aspect. And the love between sisters was really nice.
What I didn’t enjoy was feeling like it was instalove between the characters. The main character (whose name I have already forgotten...) and Cassius didn’t even know each other before it felt like they were confessing their love to each other. Plus the ending was kind of predictable. I also really hated how the Trickster just kinda of....gave up. He just took his child and left without even trying to convince one of the girls to make a deal with him. It wasn’t believable in anyway honestly.
Overall, it was an okay story but not something I’ll ever want to read again. And I probably won’t think about it again..
