This was incredible !! I couldn't put it down.
Though I'm newish to this genre, I'm really getting into more horror-type books with a little mystery and uneasy elements to it and this was perfect for me.
I highly recommend listening to the audiobook: it has sound effects!! Like you can here the birds, the wind, the beeeeees... And the narrator is perfect!
I also really appreciated the main character being genderfluid and how it seemed very casually yet realistically represented (though I'm not genderfluid so I'm looking forward to hearing what concerned people have to say about the rep!).
