It’s always a little bittersweet for me when the author begins a new series, she’s one of my favorites and it makes me sad to say goodbye to her characters and the world she created. Luckily she does this super fun and amazing thing where she has a smooth transition between series so you still get to catch up with past characters, I just adore it! Anyway, all of that to say this is book one in a new series and sometimes it takes me a bit to settle into a new world but I’m so happy to say I dove into this one super easily and am already head over heels in love with Rosewood River and its residents. Easton was such a grumpy guy but there are *reasons* and when they were revealed I melted. Henley was just the type of heroine I like, she’s kind, funny and relatable and though they start their relationship off on the wrong foot it’s easy to see they’re meant to be. Besides enemies to lovers this also has workplace romance, small town and bosses daughter. It was such a strong start to the series and I’m SO excited about the next book and the possibilities that lay ahead.
