Cackle
by Rachel Harrison
A cosy, autumn piece of witchy women’s fiction with a feminist message intertwined. I really enjoyed reading this book, I found it funny, easy and a perfect read for this time of year. Plus I think it cured my fear of spiders because Ralph was the cutest (most of the time).
There was no twists for me in this story, I knew where it was going from the beginning BUT it did not matter! I found myself whizzing through the book and enjoying the ease in which I felt immersed in it.
A thoroughly enjoyable story of badass witches, female friendship, finding yourself and then living that way unapologetically.
