I feel indifferent about this story. There were parts that were captivating but there were too many characters that I did not care about. The mother character (who I will not name because of spoilers) was my favorite character and I loved following her journey. If this novel had been written in one perspective I think I would have liked it a lot better. It felt disjointed.
