My mother has been a fan of quilt as you go projects for years, but I have never seen it done this way before. Everytime I have seen someone do quilt as you go, they do front, batting, and back all at once, but this book has you quilt the front to the bating and add the back later. It is an interesting idea, and not that hard for beginners.
