Answers some questions but also gives me a whole new set of questions. More spice and a really excellent comeuppance for at least one villain. But truly the worst cliffhanger yet. Also contains this truly incredible line that I had to save for posterity:

Their gazes meet, and some sort of testosterone-induced understanding passes between them.

Just… yes. Judge the menfolk. Excellent.
