I was expecting this to be a continuation of the early chapter book retelling of Anne of Green Gables that I started last week. However, I was nicely surprised that it’s a bedtime story. It has Anne saying goodnight to the various characters both human and not. It has great artwork and maintains the spirit of Green Gables, if not the story.
