This book started out as a lullaby written by the author for her newborn child. The lullaby is beautiful. The art work of the book is beautiful. However as a story, I don’t think it works. The natural inclination in books is to have stanzas that rhyme, or a simple story. This tries to combine the two and it falls flat. I would much rather listen to the song than read the book.
