Tobias politely voiced these same concerns, but was waved off by Conner, who asked, "Do you always think small, boy?"
Tobias swallowed. "No, sir."
"Do you think this is too ambitious?"
“I just —” Tobias found his courage. "It seems like what you want would be impossible."
"Nothing's impossible. I haven't come to this plan lightly or without a great deal of thought. But to succeed, I must have a boy who believes this can happen."
"I believe it," Roden said.

"The devils are punishing me for everything I've ever done wrong in my life," he said, marching to the stables to get horses. "They've sent me you three."

The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen was just as invigorating as I remember it being when I was younger. I read it for the first time in 6th grade, and decided to re-read it with my brother so that I can read the whole series. It is packed with humor, intensity, and even a little simmering of romance. I cannot wait to read the next book, and honestly am surprised this was never made into a movie with how great it is!
