Jezus what an ending. While I did like that we finally delved into the sci-fi aspect by exploring the humans and the space voyage and it’s failures, this book was much slower paced and lost me in some places. It was an 8 day countdown with a lot of boot camping and going back an forth between leaving with the humans and Ketahn and Ivy moments. We do finally see the queendom in action, with a sickening head turn at the ending hehe. I’ll read the next book to see where we are heading, but I do hope it’s a bit less predictable and more fast paced and more action going on.
