While I've enjoyed reading the How to Train Your Dragon series over the last year I've realized my interest in the series has waned over time. The quality of the books certainly hasn't declined and David Tennant's narration remained endlessly charming, but I'm just not as enthusiastic about this world and its characters. A combination of being outside of its target age demographic and generally not enjoying longer series, especially very episodic ones like HTTYD, has motivated me to put these books down indefinitely.
