I was so happy when this book landed on my Kindle because we had been waiting for so long but oh was it worth the wait. This book felt like coming home to me because it was so great to see all my favorite characters again, meet new ones, and see a different dynamic within the Fallen.
Axe-Man was always a character that I was interested in and to see his story unfold was great. I loved his and Mei's dynamic and the friendship between Mei and Cleo. I really enjoyed the elements of Chinese culture in this book and I basically want to put all the books Giana mentioned in the end on my wish list because I find this topic so fascinating.

Overall it was a fantastic book and I loved the be back with the Fallen and see new stories and relationships develop. Giana's writing never disappoints and this book was worth every second we waited for it.
