Venom: Space Knight, Volume 1: Agent of the Cosmos
by Robbie Thompson
Who knew in my life I always wanted some humor into my Venom stories.
I personally love Rick's and Donny's Venom runs but this one would probably fit nicely for 3rd place. This is about Flash Thompson becoming a Cosmic Knight. What's that? Well he doesn't know either but basically he uses the Venom to fight back against evil people. This is one big space adventure where we meet a giant talking Panda. I mean...can't get much weirder.
But see that's what works. This series is crazy, weird, and fun. Flash is spitting out one liners, which is weird at first, but somehow all works. It's also the most heroic Venom has probably ever been. This isn't to say he has control issues or anything with anger. I also enjoyed the talking Panda and the suicide robot. The villain was one note and boring though. Overall, fun cosmic world worth checking out. A 3.5 out of 5, I'll bump it to a 4.
