Going Postal
by Terry Pratchett
So I originally read this book YEARS AND YEARS AGO. Then YEARS after that I saw the film/mini TV show and LOVED it so much. I forgot how close of an adaptation this was. I lived the small things they changed to encapsulate how weird this world was and all the characters.
Despite having the most cringed name (fight me but "Moist" is the most disgusting word in the English language), he's such an enjoying main character. Flawed as hell but I just get so much joy out of watching/reading from him. The whole "asking the gods for money" thing makes me roar with laughter every time. The romance with him and Adora is like OTP. Lord Vetinari is such a troll honestly and he's the fictional embodiment of who I would be in any story. Basically, just take away that being a money hungry asshole is bad.
